Itinerary
Day 01: Cochin
On arrival at Cochin airport/Ernakulam Railway Station our representative meets you and assist to transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax and later we go for a full day sightseeing of Cochin. We visit to the famous Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church and the most popular Chinese Fishing Net. Later transfer back to the h
otel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar
Morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and we take you to Munnar
(140 Kms / 04 Hrs), a picturesque hill station studded with heavenly natural beauty. Throughout the journey enjoy the lovely view of the waterfalls, Tea Plantation, thick wooded forests and beautiful streams. On arrival check in at hotel, freshen up and relax at the cozy room. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
Enjoy the heart content breakfast at the hotel in Munnar. Later we go for a sightseeing tour visiting inviting spots like Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Blossom Garden, Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, Tea Plantation, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary and Rajamalai. After the memorable sightseeing tour, return back enjoying the sizzling air for an overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.
Day: 04 Munnar – Periyar
Morning after breakfast at
0900 Hrs checks out from the hotel and we drive to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). Throughout the journey enjoy the lovely view of the waterfalls, spice plantation and emerald green surrounding with thick wooded forests. On arrival check in at hotel, freshen up and rest at the comfort of your hotel room. Later go for a spice plantation tour (optional) or you can also enjoy the rejuvenating Ayurveda massage (optional). Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05: Periyar
Morning after breakfast get ready to experience the mind blowing view of the crystal clear Periyar Lake, located delightfully in the central part of the sanctuary. Answer the calls of the birds; witness the astonishing move of the animals and the serene atmosphere. After the glorious and thrilling tour return back to the hotel and enjoy relaxing and cozy overnight stay.
Day 06: Periyar- Kumarakom
Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and then later get ready to proceed towards Kumarakom
(145 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival at Kumarakom check in at resorts and get ready to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. After spending some glorious time with the birds, return back to the resorts and in the evening go for a Sunset Cruise (Optional) or enjoy the beauty of the backwater just by relaxing near Vembanad Lake. After the glorious tour, return back on time to the hotel and enjoy relaxing overnight stay.
Day 07: Houseboat Tour
Morning after breakfast, enjoy at leisure. At 1230 hrs check in at houseboat and enjoy relaxing cruise over the scenic backwater. Houseboats are outfitted with all the luxury and comfort as well as lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks and dinner will be offered on board. In the evening enjoy the lovely view of the sun-set view of the rejuvenating greenery and surf the cool refreshing air. Overnight stay will be onboard houseboat.
Day 08: Departure
Morning enjoy at leisure on the houseboat. After breakfast check out from the houseboat and our representative transfer you to Cochin airport/Railway Station to catch flight and railway for onward journey. In this way the memorable tour of Thekkady Wildlife Kumarakom ends.
