Itinerary

Day 01:  Cochin – Kumarakom
Welcome to Kerala. Your Kerala Kodaikanal tour starts on arrival at Cochin. On arrival our representative meets you and assists to transfers to Kumarakom (100 K M /2 hrs). On arrival visit directly to the Kumarakom bird sanctuary and view the exotic greenery and the colourful birds in their natural surroundings. Enjoy the sweet twittering of the birds and their lovely activities. Later return back to the resorts and take some rest. In the evening go for a sunset cruise (optional) or sit under the cool shade viewing the exotic beauty of the Vembanad Lake and the backwater. Overnight stay will be at Kumarakom resort.

Day 02: Houseboat Tours Kerala
Enjoy the morning after break as leisure. View the wonderful gift of almighty that is blessed to Kumarakom. Later at 1230 hrs check in at houseboat and enjoy the lifetime moments cruising over the scenic and picturesque backwater. Lunch, evening tea and coffee with snacks and dinner will be served on board the houseboat prepared by the experienced chefs. Later in the evening enjoy the panoramic view of the sunset and the lovely view of the nature and the exotic surrounding. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture the images of the natural surrounding and the backwater in the evening…It’s captivating and mesmerising. Overnight stay will on board the houseboat.

Day 03: Houseboat – Periyar
Morning enjoy leisure time on the houseboat viewing the scenic natural beauty. After breakfast around 0900 Hrs checks out from the houseboat and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is popular for its evergreen natural surrounding wildlife sanctuary which is home plethora of rich flora and fauna. On arrival check into the pre-booked hotel and rest of the day enjoy at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Periyar.

Day 04: Periyar (Thekkady)
Enjoy the morning after at the comfort of the hotel room. Later we go for nature tour. We enjoy the boat cruise over the Periyar Lake (Optional) and view the beauty of the nature and various species of animals from very close point. On time return back on time to the hotel for overnight stay. Day 05:

Day 05 : Periyar- Kodaikanal
Morning after breakfast at Periyar, check out from the hotel and drive on wheel to Kodaikanal (120 kms/ 4hrs). The journey of 4 hours engages you on natural view. Throughout the tour enjoy the lovely view of the thick wooded forest, natural beauty and spice plantation. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kodaikanal.

Day 06: Kodaikanal Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast enjoys your day at free will.  We visit to Kodaikanal Lake spread in an area of 60 acres surrounded with emerald green slopes, scenic natural beauty and wooded slopes. You also have the option to go for fishing, boating and visit to sightseeing places like Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls. After the exciting day tour in the refreshing surrounding return back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Kodaikanal – Munnar
Enjoy the heart content breakfast at the hotel. Later check out from the hotel and today we precede for Munnar (140 Kms / 5 Hrs) a picturesque hill station in Kerala. Munnar is a picturesque hill town and is dotted with magnificent and alluring tourism attractions. Today throughout the journey enjoy the lovely view of the nature and refreshing natural view. On arrival check in at hotel, freshen up and take some rest. In the evening refresh yourself with the refreshing tea prepared from the rejuvenating Munnar tea leaves. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar

Day 08: Munnar Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast we go for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Today we visit inviting tourist spots that include Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo Point and vas stretches of well organised tea gardens. We also visit to Eravikulam National Park and Rajamalai a home to endangered Nilgiti Tahr also called Himalayan Goat. Later return back on time to hotel in Munnar for cozy and warm overnight stay.

Day 09: Munnar – Departure
Enjoy the delicious and hearty breakfast as the hotel in Munnar. Later check out from the hotel and our representative guide you and transfer you to Cochin airport and railway station at Cochin (140 Km/4hrs) to catch railway or flight for onwards journey. In this way the memorable Kerala Kodaikanal Tour ends.
